Donald Trump Hurts Kamala’s Feelings

It appears that he hurt her feelings. Vice President Kamala Harris criticized former President Donald Trump after he made “offensive” comments about her tenure as vice president during a recent rally. In an interview with Rev. Al Sharpton, Harris addressed Trump’s derogatory language, stating that he “demeans the office” and should never hold the presidency again.

Over the weekend, The Washington Examiner reported, Trump referred to Harris as a “s***” vice president during a rally in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Sharpton, who characterized Trump’s comments as “locker room street talk,” asked Harris for her reaction. Harris responded, “The American people deserve so much better… The president of the United States must set a standard.” She emphasized that Trump’s behavior disrespects the dignity of the presidency.

In 2022, it was revealed that Harris has had significant trouble maintaining staff and often doesn’t prepare for interviews. In a book about the Biden administration, Chris Whipple revealed that many of the vice president’s mistakes stem from her deep insecurity.

In the same rally, Trump spent 12 minutes discussing golfer Arnold Palmer, a Latrobe native, making an off-color reference to Palmer. This comment drew backlash and raised questions about the tone of Trump’s speeches. However, when asked about the remark by CNN’s Jake Tapper, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) defended Trump, dismissing the controversy by stating, “He has fun at his rallies.”

That wasn’t the only time it was brought up on CNN. The channel became obsessed with the comments and discussed it multiple times with multiple elected officials on Sunday.
