AOC Town Hall Descends Into Chaos

A town hall hosted in Queens by Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez featured signs, yelling, and multiple constituents escorted out by security.

“America First. Vetted legal migrants only,” “Stop funding Ukraine,” “AOC: An Obvious Criminal,” and “AOC: Stop pushing drag queen story hour,” were several signs being held up as the she addressed the crowd of her constituents.

Footage recorded by Freedom News TV shows a man holding several small American flags approach the podium yelling, “American citizens before migrants!”

He continued shouting, “Where are you on the migrant issue? You’re a piece of s–t!” as he was escorted out of the event by security.

AOC smiled during the disruption before leaning into an, “Okaaaaay…” as the man was led away.

However, the outburst was just a sign of things to come as several other constituents shouted and were taken out of the room by security.

“Stop funding this war, there’s a lot of communities that need help and need that money,” another woman shouted as she was ushered away, referring to Ocasio-Cortez’s support for US funding for Ukraine.

At one point, she said the Biden administrations should use the 14th Amendment to abolish the debt limit, which drew both cheers and jeers.

“I still believe, first of all, that we should start to implement [the 14th Amendment] anyway because we should eliminate the debt limit in the United States because of the Constitutional reasons,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

“$100 billion for Ukraine that you voted for!” one particularly angry man shouted.

“It is not your turn! How about you wait your turn,” another incensed person yelled back.

“Freedom of speech!” someone else added.

In a tweet after the town hall, AOC made no mention of the interruptions or hecklers.

Her town halls are notorious for attracting an animated crowd, but this month’s attendees were particularly lively.
