Barron Trump, the youngest member of the Trump family, is set to begin his college journey at a university in New York this fall, former President Donald Trump revealed in an exclusive interview with The New York Post.
“He’s all set in a certain school that’s very good,” the former president shared during a conversation ahead of his campaign stop in Michigan. Although Trump confirmed that the university is located in the Empire State, he withheld the specific name of the institution, stating that an official announcement would be made soon.
When asked directly if Barron would be attending New York University (NYU), Trump smiled but declined to provide further details, emphasizing the importance of waiting for the formal announcement.
“He’s always been a very good student, he’s smart,” Trump added, highlighting his son’s academic achievements. Barron Trump, 18, graduated from high school in May, and his father previously mentioned that he had been accepted into several universities, leaving the final decision up to him.

The announcement of Barron’s college choice has become highly anticipated. Trump has said that tall, 6-foot-7 son has taken a keen interest in politics and, in some cases, has even served as an adviser of sorts.
He and his mother, former First Lady Melania Trump, have mostly shied away from the public since leaving the White House. The Hill noted that Barron made his political debut at his father’s rally last month.
The former president has described Barron Trump as a “very good guy” and said he got into every school he applied to.
