Sonia Sotomayor has had a rough few years. February, it was reported that the liberal Supreme Court Justice had been traveling around with a “medic,” sparking concerns about her health.
In 2021 and 2022, Sotomayor took at least four trips to Florida, New York, and Puerto Rico. During these trips, the Marshals Service noted baggage containing “medical gear” or redacted descriptions of “baggage/medical supplies.”
The Washington Examiner noted that Sotomayor has stated that she’s become more emotional over the years as she’s racked up loss after loss because her colleagues insist that democracy means that legislatures write laws.
“There are days that I’ve come to my office after an announcement of a case and closed my door and cried,” Sotomayor said.
“There have been those days. And there are likely to be more,” she added.
Her comments come just as conservative justices threw out a ruling that declared a congressional district in South Carolina was an unconstitutional racial gerrymander.
“There are moments when I’m deeply, deeply sad,” she said. “There are moments when, yes, even I feel desperation. We all do. But you have to own it, you have to accept it, you have to shed the tears, and then you have to wipe them and get up.”
This isn’t the first time Sotomayor has complained about losing and discussed how it impacts her emotional state.
In January, the “wise Latina” claimed to be “traumatized” by her side losing cases in which “creating change” does not get to trump the law.
The oldest liberal on the court, Sotomayor, 69, has also faced mounting calls for her resignation as the left has become increasingly concerned that Donald Trump will beat Biden in November.

We all cried when she was confirmed.
Is it crying for the guilt she might feel in seeing what her party is doing to destroy this nation? She should, if she has a soul. It is truly a crying shame.
