The Daily Mail dropped a bombshell earlier in the week that has allegedly shaken the Harris campaign.
Kamala Harris’s husband, Doug Emhoff, reportedly ended his first marriage after impregnating his children’s nanny. DailyMail.com exclusively revealed that Emhoff cheated on his first wife, Kerstin, with Najen Naylor, a blonde nanny who also taught at their children’s expensive private school. When approached at her home in The Hamptons, Naylor did not deny the affair. A close friend with direct knowledge of the situation told DailyMail.com that Naylor did not keep the child, though her social media shows a video of a mysterious baby girl named Brook in 2009, the year the baby would have been born.
In response to the revelations, Emhoff issued a statement to CNN acknowledging the affair: “During my first marriage, Kerstin and I went through some tough times on account of my actions. I took responsibility, and in the years since, we worked through things as a family and have come out stronger on the other side.”
Emhoff’s admission has done little to quell the controversy, as critics point to a significant gap between his public persona and his past actions. The Daily Caller was particularly scathing in its assessment, noting the hypocrisy of Emhoff’s behavior. The outlet lambasted him for his infidelity and subsequent actions, describing them as those of a “complete scumbag.”
The criticism centered around Emhoff’s infidelity, his relationship with the nanny, and the alleged abortion of the child conceived from the affair. The Daily Caller remarked, “Cheating on a significant other is scummy. Doing it to your wife and mother of your children is even worse. Doing that with the nanny, knocking her up and then having the kid aborted, is something only the lowest of the low of men would do.” This scathing critique contrasts sharply with Emhoff’s statements on masculinity and his role as the Second Gentleman.
Emhoff has previously positioned himself as a progressive voice against toxic masculinity. In a 2022 interview with CNN, he stated, “There’s this toxicity, this masculine idea of what a man is that’s out there that is just not correct. And that’s something that you really see when you’re doing this,” he said, referring to his role as Second Gentleman and his supportive stance towards his wife’s career. Emhoff elaborated, “Masculinity is loving your family, caring about your family and being there for your family and supporting them each and every way. And no one would say I’m not tough and no one would ever accuse me of not being there and sticking up for those that I love, but I also care about people. I’m compassionate, empathetic.”

The Daily Caller highlighted the irony, asking why it’s always liberal men with such personal failings who feel compelled to lecture others on morality and behavior. “Why is it always the men who have demons in the closet who want to tell everyone else how toxic it is to be traditionally masculine?” the outlet questioned.
This scandal has cast a shadow over Emhoff’s public image, presenting a stark contrast between his progressive rhetoric and his personal history. The thing to remember is that when liberals talk about “toxic masculinity,” they’re speaking from their own experience with men like Doug Emhoff.
Same as biden. Jill was the babysitter. Nanny. The Other woman. She was like 14. He was in his 30s, banging the snot out of her. All while mrs biden was out earning a living.
Like all liberals Emhoff is a fraud. He doesn’t live in the real world. They project a make-believe image and then live completely contrary to the image they put out there. Democrats are disgusting and hide behind the smoke and mirrors their allies in the media spew to protect them.
Once a cheater always a cheater. I speak from experience. I am a man whose wife cheated for years until she brought something home and passed it on to me. I forgave her. That did not change her one bit. She continued over and over at every job she had. As per usual I was the last one to know because after she finally took off others eventually told me they knew. Thankfully I got custody of our three kids and raised them myself until they were old enough to go out into the world. My ex married twice after me and each new husband died within a short time. Did I learn anything ? Yes, Karma is a bitch.
