Kamala Harris Mocks Pro-Life Heckler at La Crosse Campaign Rally

Vice President Kamala Harris responded with mockery when someone shouted, “Jesus is Lord” at a recent rally. The incident occurred about 20 minutes into Harris’ speech, according to a report from the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

After the heckler’s outburst, Harris shot back with, “Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally.” The crowd, which was largely pro-choice, cheered in approval as she added, “No, I think you meant to go to the smaller one down the street.” While Harris did not specify which rally she was referring to, former President Donald Trump had recently held a large town hall in La Crosse, drawing a standing-room-only crowd of approximately 8,000 at the La Crosse Center arena on August 29. By contrast, Harris’ rally at the La Crosse Recreational Eagle Center had an estimated attendance of 3,000, according to the Journal-Times.

A local woman who attended both Trump’s and Harris’ events shared her impressions on social media, contrasting the energy and crowd sizes. “Notably, I had to show I.D. to get in to see her,” she said, adding that the loudest cheers during Harris’ rally were for abortion rights.

“Not a lot of energy here, but everyone just cheered and screamed in support of killing babies. So that was disappointing,” she remarked, according to American Greatness.

The woman also posted footage of Harris’ interaction with the pro-life heckler and expressed surprise at what she saw as Harris downplaying the size of Trump’s rally compared to her own. She pointed out that while the Trump event had long lines of attendees waiting to enter, there were “open spaces” at Harris’ venue.

Just before the heckling incident, Harris had been criticizing former President Trump’s role in appointing three conservative justices to the U.S. Supreme Court, which ultimately led to the overturning of Roe v. Wade. “We’re not going to be gaslighted on this,” Harris declared, prompting boos from the crowd. “We remember Donald Trump hand-selected three members of the United States Supreme Court with the intention that they would undo the protections of Roe v. Wade, and they did as he intended.”

As the heckler shouted, “Jesus is Lord!” Harris swiftly responded with her dismissive comment, “Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally,” signaling her refusal to engage with the pro-life sentiment.

Harris’ remarks came as she skipped one of the most famous presidential traditions, the Al Smith Dinner in New York that same evening, a high-profile Catholic charity event attended by prominent political figures. She became the first presidential nominee to skip the dinner since Walter Mondale in the 1980s.

Instead, she submitted a pre-recorded video message for the event that received criticism both inside the dinner hall and across social media.

A Pew poll showed that Harris is struggling to win over Christians, and it’s no mystery as to why.

  1. That’s what the communist left does; kill babies. Over 67 MILLION so far. And why do you have to show I.D. TO GET INTO KAMEL’S RALLY, BUT NOT TO VOTE?

  2. Based on the article and ALL of the platitudes spouted by dem candidates, both at the federal and state levels, it seems like the ONLY thing the dems are focusing on is abortion ‘rights’ – and enough folks are willing to be swayed by that who will vote accordingly.
