In a recent session of the House Oversight subcommittee in Washington, D.C., Representative Lauren Boebert (R-CO) made headlines by probing experts on the controversial subjects of alleged undersea alien bases and covert Pentagon projects connected to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs). The hearing, titled “Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Exposing the Truth,” featured a panel of four experts discussing the level of government transparency, or lack thereof, surrounding UAPs and potential extraterrestrial activities.

Boebert’s line of questioning touched on several contentious theories, including Pentagon projects allegedly involving “non-human genetic material” and the potential manipulation of human DNA. The panel of experts included retired Navy Rear Admiral Dr. Tim Gallaudet, former Department of Defense (DoD) official Luis Elizondo, former NASA associate administrator Michael Gold, and investigative journalist Michael Shellenberger. Although each expert voiced concerns about government secrecy regarding UAPs, they were unfamiliar with the specific claims that Boebert brought forward.
One of the more provocative angles in Boebert’s questions revolved around a supposed “secretive project” within the DoD that purportedly manipulates human genetics using “non-human genetic material.” When Boebert questioned the panel directly about this allegation, all members responded with a firm “no.” However, Boebert continued her inquiry, broadening the discussion to include oceanic UAP sightings and possible underwater bases.
Shifting focus to UAP encounters within marine environments, Boebert asked if the Navy or other marine operations had reported sightings of unexplained phenomena near or within oceans. In response, Shellenberger referenced information from a whistleblower, mentioning a Pentagon initiative called “Immaculate Constellation.” He explained that this program purportedly documents numerous instances of oceanic UAP sightings, hinting at the potential for unknown technology at play. While Shellenberger could not definitively assert the existence of an underwater alien base, he shared accounts of mysterious orbs rising from the ocean, sometimes engaging with airborne objects.

Boebert followed up with questions about whether any observed oceanic UAP technology seemed to defy known laws of physics or current engineering capabilities. Shellenberger agreed that these sightings often challenge established scientific principles—a sentiment Boebert echoed as she expressed dissatisfaction with the limited information available to Congress and the public. She concluded her questioning with a commitment to pursue greater transparency on these enigmatic occurrences.
Following the hearing, Boebert voiced her concerns on social media, reaffirming her commitment to seeking answers on UAPs for the American people. She posted on X (formerly Twitter), signaling her willingness to collaborate with a potential Trump administration to secure further disclosures.
Boebert’s questions follow Donald Trump’s appearance on the Joe Rogan podcast, in which he also discussed the possibility of aliens.
