The Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee unveiled a “election integrity” strategy that will enlist 100,000 volunteers and attorneys to help ensure the United States has a secure and fair election, the party announced on Friday.
In 2020, changes in election laws due to COVID, along with an increase in Democrats manipulating laws to their own benefit, created confusion, which has led to a rising increase in trust about how our elections are run.

In addition to recruiting poll watchers and lawyers, the press release even mentions hiring poll workers.
“Having the right people to count the ballots is just as important as turning out voters on Election Day,” Trump said in the release.
The RNC intends to establish in every battleground state an “Election Integrity Hotline” within each State Republican War Room. These lawyers will be responsible for fielding “all incoming questions and issues” reported by poll watchers and voters. They will also guide poll watchers through “the appropriate election code and provide clarity on how issues should be answered, resolved, or escalated.” Training for volunteers and lawyers for voting site and tabulation center monitoring will occur every month. The GOP said it planned to work with “passionate grassroots coalitions who are deeply invested in fighting voter fraud.”
“The Democrat tricks from 2020 won’t work this time,” RNC chief counsel Charlie Spies said in the press release. “In 2024 we’re going to beat the Democrats at their own game and the RNC legal team will be working tirelessly to ensure that elections officials follow the rules in administering elections. We will aggressively take them to court if they don’t follow rules or try to change them at the last minute.’”
The new program, writes Fox News, “underscores the former president’s emphasis on election integrity. For years, Trump has repeatedly made unsubstantiated claims that his 2020 election loss to President Biden was due to massive voter fraud. And he has been indicted in two criminal cases for his alleged efforts to undermine and overturn those election results.
The former president and his allies have also claimed that Democrats will try to rig the 2024 election.
