FBI Employee Expresses Disappointment Over Trump Living

An FBI staffer has been accused of posting an offensive message expressing regret that Donald Trump was not killed in an assassination attempt on Saturday.

The staffer joins multiple other Democrats who have expressed disappointment that the frontrunner for the presidency was not murdered.

Jenna Howell, who is a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) employee, according to a former FBI analyst who spoke with The Federalist, took to Facebook to express apparent regret that the gunman failed to assassinate Trump according to The Federalist.

“The memes…the memes are gold,” Howell wrote in a Facebook comment. She shared an image depicting the grim reaper attempting to pick Trump out of a claw machine captioned “AWWW SO CLOSE.”

Howell appeared to criticize social media users expressing grief and outrage over the political violence, writing, “Y’all gun-toting, 2nd Amendment-loving hillbillies better just sit down and stay quiet unless you’re gonna change your mind on gun control.”

Former FBI analyst Chris Toompas told The Federalist that Howell is a former NICS Firearms Background Check Unit employee, the unit that decides whether Americans are permitted to obtain firearms. She is now assigned to the FBI’s Identity Research Department, according to Toompas.

The FBI has been tasked with investigating the assassination attempt. The bureau stated on Sunday that “while the investigation to date indicates the shooter acted alone, the FBI continues to conduct logical investigative activity to determine if there were any co-conspirators associated with this attack. At this time, there are no current public safety concerns.

The FBI has not identified a motive for the shooter’s actions, but we are working to determine the sequence of events and the shooter’s movements prior to the shooting, collecting and reviewing evidence, conducting interviews, and following up on all leads. We have also obtained the shooter’s telephone for examination.

The FBI has searched the shooter’s home and vehicle to collect additional evidence. Suspicious devices found at both locations have been rendered safe by bomb technicians and are being evaluated at the FBI Laboratory.”

Investigators from the Pittsburgh Field Office have searched Crook’s home in Bethel Park, a suburb of Pittsburgh. Additionally, they searched his vehicle, which was present at the scene of the shooting in Butler, according to the FBI.

“Suspicious devices found at both locations have been rendered safe by bomb technicians and are being evaluated at the FBI Laboratory,” the FBI said.

Crooks wasn’t on the FBI’s radar, according to reports.

  1. Jenna should be unemployed today. The FBI has been infiltrated and corrupted by these radical liberals. Democrats are crazed, hate filled people. No one should ever even think this let alone say it. Especially a government employee.

    • Russ – well she is certainly entitled to her own opinion BUT to put it out in public in such an obnoxious/tasteless, manner shows just how tone deaf she is. As others have pointed out that should have been enough for termination – especially in light of how the ‘bureau’ has been purging from the ranks anyone they consider right leaning.
