Activists at Google received a life lesson recently. Working at a company is not like going to college. A company might lean liberal, but it isn’t going to praise you for supporting “social justice” when you decide to protest management decisions.
Google is, in fact, a business.
The Daily Caller writes that even the liberal tech giant has had enough of the far-left’s disruptions and treating every single thing they disagree with as if it’s the end of the world.
Police arrested nine Google employees following a protest centered around Google’s involvement in Project Nimbus, a $1.2 billion cloud computing contract with the Israeli government, which has sparked internal opposition at Google and Amazon, The Verge reported. Protesters in California allegedly occupied the office of Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian, while their colleagues in New York staged a sit-in on the 10th floor of the Chelsea office.
The New York protest ended around 9:45 PM when police, accompanied by a Google representative, arrested four employees after revoking their building access and placing them on administrative leave, the outlet stated. The California group, which was live-streaming their protest on Twitch, was also arrested. Video footage shows a security guard warning them before six officers arrived to take five employees into custody.
The employees involved have been vocal in their opposition to Project Nimbus, arguing that it contradicts Google’s stated AI Principles and their ethical standards.
“We did not come to Google to work on technology that kills. By engaging in this contract leadership has betrayed our trust, our AI Principles, and our humanity,” said Billy Van Der Laar, a Sunnyvale-based software engineer, The Verge reported.
A bunch of idiotic, self-entitled, Google employees staged a pathetic sit-in protest against a contract Google has with the Israeli gov't.
All 28 of them have now been arrested and fired.

The “genocide” that the activists claim Google is participating in revolves around a contract the company has to provide cloud services to Israel. The employees, part of a group that calls itself No Tech for Apartheid, have been writing letters and staging protests against Google’s deal to sell technology to Israel since 2021.
On Wednesday, the activists got what they wanted. They no longer work for a company they argue is committing genocide.
The New York Times writes that “Google on Wednesday fired 28 workers after dozens of employees participated in sit-ins at the company’s New York and Sunnyvale, Calif., offices to protest the company’s cloud computing contract with the Israeli government.
A day earlier, nine employees were arrested on charges of trespassing at the two offices.
“Physically impeding other employees’ work and preventing them from accessing our facilities is a clear violation of our policies, and completely unacceptable behavior,” a Google spokeswoman said in a statement.”
