The House Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing on April 1 to review federal judges who blocked policies from President Donald Trump’s administration. This hearing comes as conservative Republicans increase pressure to impeach certain judges—a push that House Speaker Mike Johnson, from Louisiana, has been quietly trying to manage.
Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, of Ohio, confirmed the hearing is being planned but did not disclose who would be testifying. Speaker Johnson also avoided giving specifics about whether any judges would be asked to appear.
Politico noted that Trump and allies have repeatedly called for federal judges to be impeached for issuing orders to halt elements of his agenda. They have lately been training their ire in particular on U.S. District Judge James Boasberg, who has blocked Trump’s attempts to unilaterally deport alleged gang members.
House Republicans do not currently have the votes to impeach Boasberg or other judges, however, so leadership has been looking at other means for reforming the courts to benefit the president. Speaker Mike Johnson will speak with GOP members of the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday to discuss possible options, said a person granted anonymity to share details of a private meeting.
Jordan said he told Trump on Saturday his committee’s first step would be a hearing next Tuesday focusing on general concerns around the power of district court judges to issue nationwide injunctions that broadly impede the president’s actions.
The Senate Judiciary Committee appears to be pursuing a similar strategy. Senate Judiciary Chair Chuck Grassley told reporters Monday his committee also would hold a hearing on the issue of nationwide injunctions “within the next couple weeks,” and that he, too, had not yet decided on whether judges would be called as witnesses.
Speaker Johnson’s careful approach reflects the political risks involved, explained The Washington Examiner. While he shares conservative concerns about the judiciary’s influence on public policy, he has resisted demands for impeachment. Instead, he has tried to steer the focus of the GOP caucus toward legislative efforts and government oversight.
The April 1 hearing is likely to intensify Republican criticisms of what they see as judicial overreach, even as party leaders try to avoid another divisive impeachment fight in the House.

Just scrap the Fed District Court System.
Or repurpose Judges
The title “Federal District Judge” was specifically used by the Founders to describe these particular judges limits of authority. They intended for these judges to have authority within the boundaries of a federal district similar to where a member of the House and Senate are restricted to their Congressional district. Anybody with a functioning brain knows this. Therefore this means these judges either don’t have a functioning brain or they are blatantly and knowingly abusing their judicial authority. At this point they should be removed from the bench as criminals. Judges are not immune for acting criminally.
These Marxists ignore the Constitution..
Unfortunately we now have a judiciary that thinks they run the Country.
